Bishop ChristopherFrom the Heart of Glenda...

My wishes to all Spiritis Ministers for the coming year:

Go forth with gratitude, optimism,

graciousness of spirit, and an open mind.

Embrace a strong vision, respect the freedom of others, enjoy your own free will, and be at peace with yourself through a living union with God.

Gratitude is your greatest prayer.

Resentment is your undoing of prayer.

Optimism is your greatest ability.

A bad attitude is your greatest handicap.

Graciousness of spirit is your greatest strength.

An unforgiving heart is your greatest disease.

An open mind is your source of progress.

Prejudice is your hindrance.

To embrace a vision is to have a future.

To worry about what others may think is to live in the shadow of their past.

There is no greater prison than the one you create for yourself.

There is no greater freedom than that which you give to yourself and wish for others.

There is no greater courage than to be who you really are.

There is no greater hurt than separation from God.

There is no greater peace than union with your Holy Source.

May the Peace of Christ be a living flame in your hearts.

Chaplaincy for the Elderly - a Blessed Way to Build Your Ministry

Most of us have heard the word, "Chaplain," and, typically, we associate Chaplains with the Armed Forces, or hospitals, prisons or perhaps lay chaplains.   I have had a variety of experiences as a Chaplain, and in my experience, the folks that are in real need of caring Chaplains are the elderly, particularly those in nursing homes.

It was shocking to me to learn how many folks in our nation's nursing homes rarely, if ever, receive a visitor!  Statistics show that more than 60% of all the elders living in nursing homes never get a call, never get a card at Christmas, and never receive visitors.

In my work with the elderly in nursing homes, I've recently been offered thousands of free stuffed animal hand puppets to distribute to the elderly, and I will make a number of them available to you if you feel called to this important work.

I am offering my services to my fellow ministers to inform, educate, and assist you in beginning your ministry in the area of Chaplaincy.  For those of you who might be looking for a way to begin your ministry, working as a Chaplain will truly be some of the most important work you can do as a Spiritis Minister.

If you are interested in pursuing Chaplaincy as part of your ministry,  educational seminars and training on how to begin your work as a Chaplain will be offered soon.  This education is a must so that you are informed and confident as you reach out to the elderly as a "Chaplain" in your communities.

Once you have participated in the Chaplaincy Training Conference Call, you will have a network of support from fellow Spiritis Chaplains, as well as my personal support.  Rev. Linda Marie Nelson, Priest, has offered to coordinate the Chaplaincy Training.

To register for an upcoming Chaplain Training Tele-Conference, please send an email stating your interest in Chaplaincy to Linda Marie Nelson

Remember to include your name, telephone number, and email address so that we can contact you with a date and time for our tele-conference training.

May God's Loving Blessings Be With You Always, Bishop Christopher

"Fr. Lee Advice"

Rev. Beverly writes:

"Given what we've learned from Jeshua, why do you choose a vow of poverty, and can it be modified?"

Peace be with you, and thanks so much for your question.  In a way I would like to respond, "Oh my God!  I hope so (that this vow can be modified.)"

Actually the Vow of Poverty has much more to do with my reliance on God than it does with what's in my bank account.  You can read about this in the Gospel of Matthew and The Sermon on the Mount, as well as in the Gospel of Luke.  St. Francis of Assisi was appalled at the wealth of (primarily) the Church with regard to most of the church members, as well as the Nobility of his time.

For a Monk it is a Vow of Community Charity, of being in the world but not of the world.  For me, most importantly,  it is the recognition of God as Source.   With this understanding, it could be considered a modification from the common understanding of The Vow of Poverty, which is to always be broke.

Today, if you Minister outside of The Institutional Church, as I do, you come to rely upon donations to continue your work.  This is true even of Institutional Churches and Minister - just turn on Christian T.V.   So my personal financial situation becomes a concern when I worry about how much money I  need, rather than focusing on teaching the Love of God.   I hope this helps.

Why We Celebrate The Liturgy

The first response people have after attending the Mass is how beautiful it is! So, the easy answer is to the question of why we celebrate the Mass is because it evokes that response. Then we can consider why  is  the experience of The Mass so beautiful?

I believe it is because of how it makes us feel. We realize on some level that we have been in the Divine Presence. The Mass is an ancient tradition and is taken from the Temple worship tradition.  The Priesthood is also taken from the ancient Temple worship tradition.

In the earliest expressions of The Church we find in Acts that the people met to pray, to share stories, to break bread, and that is exactly what we do in The Mass.  Our Mass is just celebrated in a structured form, and it is structured so that it reflects Divine Order.  It evolved into a structured rite to keep the Greeks and Romans of ancient times from entering into full scale orgy, which was how these ancient people worshiped.

Today what we know as "The Mass" is actually a re-creation of what was done in the ancient Temple.  We enter the Temple, we cleanse ourselves,  we learn, we give thanks and praise, and we offer Sacrifice.  Then we are lead into Divine Union with Christ through the Sacrament of Communion.

The Mass concludes with a final blessing and we return to our lives.  The Mass can also be seen as Meditation and a Work of Divine Energy.  We all feel this Energy when we are all focused on the common prayers.  Our Hearts are lifted up to the Divine, Who responds in kind to our Devotion.

So, The Mass is very interactive. We will learn more about The Mass as we practice together.  It is my hope that this newsletter will serve to open a deeper dialog.  So I end this article by saying that the most important part of the Mass is YOUR experience!

Please feel free to email me with questions about The Liturgy or about the History of Ortha (The Way of the Original Church.)

Peace be with you all.

Bishop Christopher    Fr. Chris Jensen,                                             Newton, CT

Letter from Our "Minister of Ministers"

In his secular life, Fr Chris Jensen, Minister of Ministers, is a management consultant, trainer, and executive coach who bring his clients over 30 years of in-depth experience in the field of personal and professional development. His experience and expertise in process redesign and applied behavioral science cuts across traditional industry boundaries and addresses the core ingredients of every business organization: people and process.

He has presented his proven, time-tested methods to over 300,000 people throughout the United States, Canada, and Europe helping their organizations improve productivity and solve problems in the areas of leadership, communication, hiring/selection, process improvement, employee loyalty, and customer relations. He volunteers his time as an Examiner for the Connecticut Quality Improvement Award and is studying to become an Examiner with the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award. He works with his clients to implement PERFORMANCE EXCELLENCE using the Baldrige Award criteria for managing more productively.

The late Rev Raymond Burns, a spiritualist minister at the Albertson Memorial Spiritualist Church in Old Greenwich, CT, ignited Fr Chris' flaming passion for the study of spirituality and Truth. Some forty years later, Chris was invited to conduct his first church service as a newly ordained Spiritis minister at the Albertson Church.

As one of the pioneers in the human potential movement, Fr Chris worked closely with Jose Silva to introduce the Silva Method self-empowerment seminars throughout New England and Europe. One of his students, Dr. Amar Bose, invited him to coach and train key Bose Corporation personnel in applying the Silva skills to enhance scientific research. He also worked with Apollo 14 astronaut Dr. Edgar Mitchell in the formation of his organization, IONS, the Institute Of Noetic Sciences. He worked with Ingo Swann, known as the Father of Remote Viewing, on numerous remote viewing experiments. In the summer of 1975, Judy Skutch invited him to join a small group of people to read and comment on the original typewritten manuscript of A Course in Miracles. For a number of years, Chris was very active in the National Prayer Breakfast having become a close friend of Nina Rote, whose father, Holger Christian Langmack, author of God and the Universe, was one of the NPB founders.

While living and teaching the Silva program in the Boston area, Fr Ed, a young Episcopal priest became very active in supporting Chris' seminars. After about a year, the Diocese transferred Fr Ed out of the area.  Several years later, Chris left Boston and moved back to his hometown of Ridgefield, Connecticut. A few months later, Chris "just happened" to see a newspaper article about the new assistant rector at the local Episcopal Church. It was Fr Ed! Suspecting that God might have a plan behind this "coincidence" he reconnected with his old friend. Together they formed a non-profit research organization, The Foundation for Christian Psychic Research. However, one day while working on foundation business at Fr Ed's home, Chris discovered God's real plan. She was a beautiful young Sunday school teacher and Truth student named Marie who was visiting Fr Ed's wife. A confirmed bachelor, Chris immediately knew his bachelorhood was in jeopardy. They were married a year later.

Together, Marie and Chris have started three churches in the Connecticut area. World United Church a Religious Science church in Stamford, Unity Fellowship Church in Norwalk and Unity of New Haven in New Haven, CT. Chris served as president of the Board of Trustees for all three churches.

In early 1997, his close friend from Unity, the late Rev Bud Paulding, gave him a copy of LWE and said, "This is a must read." Chris recognized it as a beautiful summation of all the Truth material he and Marie had been studying for many years. They held LWE study groups in their home, which they called Gatherings for God. A few years later, Bud Paulding called Chris to say that Glenda Green was starting a church and the first ordination class was forming. He told Chris, "You are supposed to be there." Chris recalls that Bud spoke as if God was speaking through him. Together they traveled to Sedona and were ordained in the first ordination class in April 2003. When Chris first met Glenda Green, he immediately knew that Bud's message was correct and that he had been sent on a mission to help bring Jeshua's message to the world. Archbishop Larry Jensen appointed Fr Chris Minister of Ministers and he was elevated to Priest in 2004.

Chris and Marie live in Newtown, CT and have two grown sons, Craig and Chris, Jr. Craig and his wife Marina, made them proud grandparents of Daniel almost two years ago. Chris, Jr. is a talented musician and song writer who has expressed a strong desire to become a minister. Fr Chris' first marriage ceremony as a Spiritis Minister was the wedding of Chris, Jr. and his wife Kelly. Marie was ordained a Spiritis Minister in February 2007.

Many people erroneously think Fr Chris is related to Archbishop Larry Jensen. He is not except that, supposedly, all people with a Danish heritage named Jensen are distant cousins.

Fr Chris has a strong vision for Spiritis Church. He believes God has a definite plan for its future and that every Spiritis Minister has been given a unique opportunity to participate in the unfolding of that plan. How each minister chooses to participate is part of their own personal spiritual growth and the role they will have in making this a better world for those that we leave behind.

Friendships Love

I had a very special friend,

so close as close can be.

Our hearts and souls were so

entwined we were like one, you see.

I thought that we would never part,

we were so close and true.

Our friendship stood the test of time,

of sad and good times too.

But one day it fell apart,

those joyous special times.

It was as though we'd never

shared that love, that very special kind.

So I prayed and asked my Father dear,

please share with me what I've done wrong.

His answer was quite musical,

as from a sacred song.

He said my dear you should not cry

for things that cannot be.

Just love the Christ within your friend

and not her personality.

For here is were you'll find true love,

but not the worldly kind.

And not the love your thoughts would seek

so deep within your mind.

For the love and friendship that you seek

cannot be found out there.

The proven love that really lasts,

the kind you need to share,

comes only when your mind is still

and thoughts are laid to rest.

Yes, then my child, you'll recognize

the love that is the best.

So love your friend from deep inside,

whether near or far apart.

For the love you feel, the love that lasts,

it's deep within your heart.

For that is where your Christ is, too.

And you will quickly see,

that you and your friend are truly one

in Holy Trinity.

eva hershey      Eve, the Mother of All Living

by Rev. Eva Hershey,                     Mt. Laurel, NJ

And God said, "Let there be light, and there was light."   And God said, "Let us make man in our own image."

And God formed man.  And God formed woman.  And there was love.

"And Adam called his wife's name Eve; because she was the mother of all living."   Mother of all living -- what an awesome responsibility; Eve, a chosen vessel, created in the image of God, the image of love. As a creation of God, a child of God, she was given the ability to choose. This was God's great gift to mankind.  God was not interested in making puppets that would respond only when he pulled their strings but beings of choice to create their own experiences.

Is it perhaps time to honor our mother?   "In the image of God created he them."

Eve has been the recipient of much blame for the choice she made. Her children, trying to cope with their own inadequacies, have put the blame on their mother.  If she had not eaten the forbidden fruit I wouldn't be in this fix. "Original sin," caused the "fall of man," now we all must die.  It's not my fault.

The blame has continued through thousands of generations.  Mankind did not recognize the gift. We saw only a curse. Are we here on this earth as victims of some unknown evil which the first human mother passed on to all of her children? Did she bring a curse upon us all?  Or was it a blessing, a blessing in disguise?  In this love song written by Wayne Gavel we may find the answer:

The Song of the Bride

God dreamed a dream wherein His love was born,

And in that dream upon creation's morn

His eyes beheld, and lo, a maiden fair

Arose before Him like a jewel--solitaire.

In robes of white, appearing as a bride,

She knelt and sang a song of eventide.

God dreamed, and when that melody He heard,

His heart with love's primeval chords resounding stirred.

Love's echo sounded on creation's eve;

A bride rejoiced, her jewels to receive.

The ransomed stones from Egypt's wilderness

Adorned that image of a dream in mortal dress.

The trumpet called; behold the Lamb said, "Come".

A song filled heaven's auditorium.

No more His wife would tears of sorrow know;

It was that song her husband dreamed of long ago.

Chorus:

Angels knew the plan to bring His dream to life.

God would make a bride to become His loving wife.

Though the tempter rage and heavens pass away,

He would claim that bride His own one day.

"And God saw everything that he had made, and, behold, it was very good."

Did God not know what would result when he gave Adam and Eve choice and gave them access to "the tree of the knowledge of good and evil?" Does "created in the image of God" still apply? The image of God is the image of love, eternal love. And within each of us, though it sometimes gets hidden so deep that it's hard to find, or is covered over with many layers of accumulations resulting from our continuing to eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, is the seed of love which was planted by God in the heart of every soul. A seed must first be buried in the ground before it can sprout and grow. That seed cannot be destroyed. God would woo his bride back with a love that is destined to win. What has been called "fallen from grace," is the very situation which made grace possible. How could we know the beauty of unconditional love and forgiveness if God had not first led the way.

God is love, His love is eternal, everlasting, without condition. And His will is for us to return, return to the "mother of all living," to the garden and the tree of life. We still have choice. We know the result of eating of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Eve saw it as "a tree to be desired to make one wise." When we withhold judgment we can learn much from the experience of another. Perhaps the wisdom for us is to look at the result and make a different choice.

Thousands of years later a descendant of Eve came to earth to help us with our choices. He was called Jeshua. He came to show us the way to return to love. He taught us to embrace love and let go of judgments. "Judge not that you be not judged," an admonition to stop eating of the "tree of the knowledge of good and evil." The "tree of life" is still available. "The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed,.... Though it is the smallest of all seeds, yet when it grows, it is the greatest of herbs and becomes a tree." Jeshua also said, "The kingdom of God is within you." The seed may be dormant, but it will grow when given the right conditions.

We thank you Eve, and all mothers throughout history, for bringing us to our own story today, a story that we can create with love, As we reflect on the past and see the results of past choices we can tap into a greater wisdom to help us make choices that bring us back to the tree of life and eternal love.

"Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world."

What Are We Here For?

The primary consequence of the first Spiritis Church Conference was the exhilarating sense of community that bloomed around and through those in attendance.  Both seasoned and new ministers alike felt a genuine connection with each other.  It may well have taken root when our beautiful Bishop Green opened the first morning by sharing with us a direct call from Jeshua extended to all gathered there.

It was certainly deepened by Bishop Larry Jensen's suggestion that we meet each other that morning with our hearts, not the usual "masks" of ego identity and story.  Then came the wonderful impromptu session with our beloved Bishop Lee, in which many questions were brought to light and answered.  For the first time we recognized and articulated that Spiritis Church is "Pre-denominational, Universal (Catholic) Spirituality."

Then came our Conference dinner and the "very credible" keynote address by Bishop Glenda that deeply touched everyone present with her sincerity and conviction.  And finally, there was the ordination ceremony and beautiful Spiritis Mass performed by Bishops Glenda Green, Larry Jensen, Christopher Hegargy, and Lee Petersen, along with Priests Gary and Nancy Freeborg, Linda Marie Nelson, and, that truly enveloped all present in the Spirit of the Love we are.  This entire gathering brought forth a beautiful sense of inspiring communion.

We had "break-out sessions" for the senior clergy that deepened our initial sense of connection.  We met and shared ideas, desires, and potentials for developing a greater sense of community.  We talked about our intentions and what WE needed to do to ensure the growth and expansion of our church.

Committees were formed and plans initiated for a bi-monthly or quarterly newsletter, the reactivation of a church wide email connection for healing and prayer requests, a website specifically for the clergy, and a committee to take the reins for planning Our "annual" conferences.

Community infers communion and communion bespeaks communication.  Given that we are yet in our very formative stage, and all busy with other lives and existing projects, communication appears to be our greatest challenge.  We need your help!  The committees that were formed to enhance our connection as "community" need your help in establishing active and dedicated groups to handle the challenges of creating a ministers' newsletter, contributing to the development of and instruction for the use of a ministers' website, as well as to work as a team on a committee to organize yearly ministers' conferences.

The designs discussed for a "Spiritis Ministers Fellowship" website are currently on hold.  The first thing we need to determine is if there is a desire or need for fellowship among the ministers?  If none of us are willing or able to take the time to reach out to each other, there is no need to invest the time and expense of developing an internet connection for the clergy.

WE NEED TO HEAR FROM YOU, THE MINISTERS OF SPIRITIS CHURCH.

The intention behind designing a website for the clergy was based on fulfilling several needs.  First and foremost, it is intended to be a resource for all ministers.  The intention is that the site would offer things like book lists and resources to develop and further ministerial efforts.  Assistance with weddings, memorial services and other rituals would be available there.

There would be provisions for a questions and suggestions "box" through which more information could be obtained from the respective sources and/or leadership.   Articles could be posted.  A chat room or blog could be established.  Descriptions about what and how many of us are pursuing our ministries would be offered.

In short, the website could be a means of deepening our connection with each other and thereby enhancing and extending our ministry.

So, here's the question: Is there a need for such a website?  Is there a desire for building and maintaining a sense of community?

We are a diverse group of people with a broad range of existing and demanding obligations.  We now span various communities, nations, time zones, and oceans.  What are we here for?  Why have we become ministers of "Spiritis Church?"

In truth we each represent "Spiritis Church," even as we collectively represent it.  What is it that ties us into a whole, into Unity, into a community?  IS there something we are about, a common idea or ideal that can be served, enhanced, or expanded better collectively than separately?  Do we share a common concept, vision, or purpose?

I entered the ministry initially because I believe true healing lies in consciousness.  I entered Spiritis Seminary because the idea of serving Jeshua, of being a modern disciple, and extending his present revelation of "Love Without End" through a "Church of the Holy Spirit" resonated deeply within me.

And I also sought to be a part of something greater than my Self.  Perhaps that "greatness" is simply the presence of the Holy Spirit.  I am still learning to listen and hear within my heart.  Perhaps that "greatness" is the number of couples I touch, however simply, as I officiate at marriages.  Perhaps that greatness is something yet to be discovered.  I like to think that greatness is a common purpose I share with all of you.

To some extent "structure" has become a "bad" word.  Yet Jeshua says that structure is our tool when we use it effectively rather than being used by it.   Structure or rather organization is essential to any joint or common activity.   Great things can be achieved, even if it manifests as nothing more than mutual support for individual efforts.  I am not talking about dogmas and credos; I am suggesting we have a collective purpose that may be beyond what we can envision separately.  Surely our collective potential remains untapped.

Our diversity is our strength.  Our message of Loving Without End, without judgment, of wholeness and unity, and of a God of Compassion, Love, and personal intimacy is essential for our world in these times.  It is not "new," idea, but our revival of it in this day and age certainly can be.

Our message welcoming Everyone back to Jeshua's table is awe-inspiring.  I would support you in sharing that message as you are directed, as I would welcome your support.

We, the clergy, have a wonderful resource in Father Chris Jensen, who has been designated the "Minister of Ministers."  If you have issues, questions, a desire to connect with "someone," he may be a person to turn contact.

I am heading up the committee for the minister's fellowship website.  Please feel free to write if you wish to help, have an idea, or want to respond to anything I've said.  Let's talk.  I am also here as your brother in Spirit to connect for whatever the need.

There are many of us desiring greater community.  Let's reach out.  This is how it begins.  This is how it expands.

You are blessed.

Sincerely, Rev. Dr. Newton E. Bunce III. - Deacon

 Getting to Know You...

by Rev.Carol Delaney,
        Fairfax, VA

.

Dear Ministers of Spiritis,

Linda Marie asked me to write about myself, so I will begin by telling you how glad I am to be with you all in Spiritis Church, where my heart feels at home and how wonderful it is to learn so much about God, our true Home, from Glenda's work with Jeshua.

I am the mother of two twenty-something children.  I am wife, a professor of literature and academic writing at Virginia International University which is in the D.C. area.  I am a counselor, an environmentalist, a peace activist, and one who seeks to see God AND to reflect God everywhere.

Since I can remember, I have always thought  that  the universe, on every level and wherever I focused, was revealing something wonderful to me.  What was it?  How could I ever understand and how could I be sure of my understanding?

As I went through life, which was quite intense in my hometown of  Washington, D.C., I truly hungered and thirsted after righteousness without missing any of the delights of life, so kindly lavished upon me and my two sisters by my mother, Mary, a tenth-generation Protestant-American, and my father, Joseph, a second-generation Italian-American.  No kidding, Mary and Joseph!

While growing up, I remember there were the 60s peace marches, the race riots, the tear gas in the streets, but nothing dimmed my joy.  What rang true for me always had to be joyous.   Glenda's work with Jeshua is so excellent because it rings true--with joy--to such an awesome depth in both the heart as well as the mind.

I love Glenda's work on the translation of the Beatitudes, and especially the first one.  Blessed are the poor in spirit, i.e., blessed are the simple in spirit, only thus we cannot lose our way on The Way.  The "new 'Kiss word" from Jeshua, courtesy of Glenda, is "Keep It Spiritually Simple (K.I.S.S.)," and honestly, doing so works on practically an infinity of levels!

First of all, when we keep it simple, we are in accord with our natures.  And according to Jeshua, "The path-The Way-is for Love to come full circle back to its own simplicity" (Keys of Jeshua, Chapter 18.)  Secondly, when we do so, we can be "happy learners" (a phrase from A Course In Miracles); and as any good teacher will tell you, only  students such as these are aiming easily for the highest and best.

I seek to further the cross-cultural communication of divinity, with service in ministering to all God's children all the time, although not necessarily formally.  I feel very blessed to have contact with so many people, including my family and friends as well as international students far from home.

On a more formal note, I have started a new Lecture Series and Peace Initiative at the university which begins this April 25th with a lecture from the U.S. Institute of Peace on the Arab-Israeli conflict, Iraq, and the Sudan.  The university students, 99 percent of whom are not American, will take this peace initiative home to the far corners of the earth.

Many times the Holy Spirit speaks out through the great writing from the students in my classes, for the overwhelming majority of them call upon God in their literary works, surprisingly enough perhaps.  And often I am called to minister by honoring and affecting the sacred hearts of my students, which they pour out enthusiastically in their many assignments.

I worked previously as a counselor with foster and adoptive families and their children.  Now I counsel at the university one day a week "officially," but anytime and anywhere "unofficially."

From a soul's perspective, future is the promise of perfection which you remember and seek to re-attain.  In that pursuit, infinite potential will supply your needs, yearnings, lessons, and alignments until at last you realize that true completion has always been within yourself, and is re-attained through liberation of external desire as well as attachment to everything outside yourself" (Keys of Jeshua, Chapter 18).

How wonderful to be in the world, but not of the world, and at home with all of  you in the One Heart of  Spiritis.

In Joy,

Rev. Carol Delaney

I was ordained a Minister and Chaplain and received a Doctor of Divinity degree from Spiritis Seminary of Sedona, AZ, in December 2004.  My ministry focuses on using Sacred Heart Therapy to expand the heart and unite the mind, body, and soul to release unwarranted negative emotions, freeing the body of disease-causing hindrances known as emotional obstacles.

I am a Ph.D. candidate, and I am currently completing my doctorate in esoteric and conscious studies specializing in the healing arts:  yoga and breath, emotional release, mysticism, early traditions and religion, sacred geometry and symbolism.  I graduated with honors from the University of Houston with a B.S. in Psychology and a B.A. in Journalism.

My graduate studies began at the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology (ITP) in Palo Alta, CA specializing in the links between mind, body and spirit, including creative expression, authentic movement, psychology of the body, spiritual psychology, consciousness studies and shamanism.

I am also a Master Practitioner and Trainer of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), and I've studied extensively under Doreen Virtue, Ph.D., who taught me how to understand and utilize humanity's unique connection with Angels.  I received my Reiki training in Texas, under the tutelage of renowned Reiki Master and Shaman apprentice Mary Armenia.

Traveling to China, I learned Feng Shui in five different cities from Helen and James Jay, and with Buddhist monks and university professors.  My teachers also include my late soul mate, as well as Deepak Chopra, Gary Zukav, Caroline Myss, Ron Roth, Joey Korn, Tad James, Ph.D., Eric "Hugging Bear" Davis,  Ana Forrest, Shiva Rea, Robert Boustany, Jonny Kest, John Friend, David Williams, Bishop Glenda Green, and Dr. Larry Jensen.

I am grateful for all the knowledge and for all the wonderful teachers who have inspired me to share my gifts and have stood by me graciously.  I have been practicing yoga since 1994, having studied Flow, Vinyasa Yoga with Jonny Kest at The Houstonian, Anusara Yoga with John Friend, The Yoga Institute of Houston, Houston area Bikram's Yoga College of India, Boustany's Hatha Yoga Studios with Robert Boustany, Shiva Rea from Venice Beach, Ashtanga with David Williams, and Forrest Yoga extensively with Ana Forrest.
